How much does a Tanzania safari cost?
A private Tanzania safari with Yera starts from $2,800 per person. Classic starts from $2,800, Signature from $4,000 and Bespoke from $5,000, depending on season, days and lodges.
How many days do I need for a Tanzania safari?
Most travellers need 6 to 8 days for the Northern Circuit. Two to four days suits one or two parks, and 10 days or more allows a second region or a beach extension.
Is a Tanzania safari suitable for children?
Yes. We take families with children from age 2 and plan each day around the children's ages. Some camps have their own age limits, which we confirm before you book.
Which circuit is best for a first safari?
The Northern Circuit. It covers the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire, with the shortest drives from Arusha.
Do I need a visa for Tanzania?
Most visitors need a visa. You can apply online for a Tanzania e-visa before you travel; check the official immigration website for the rule that applies to your passport.
Can I join a group instead of booking a private safari?
Yes. We run two group departures every month from January to December 2027, on fixed dates with a shared vehicle.
